Stomping The Yard

ever felt like stomping the yard? ill back to that in a bit

but first off id like to congratulate saima on her marriage! i havent met her yet but we've had cool msn conversations where she questioned me to make sure that ill be an ok hubby to sarah.
it went something like this:

saima: hi iqster, wow.. i cant believe im actually talking to you this is so iqciting
iq: hey saima, this is a great honor as well
saima: the weather is great isnt it.. i love soap operas.. oh and WHAT DO YOU DO FOR A LIVING!?!?!
(i like how she slid that in)
iq: im a private dancer... in fact i can be your private dancer
saima: hehehehe okay you are fully iqcepted into our family

it was tragiq that she couldnt make it to A&M's wedding in december but we have always had cool msn chats. last weekend was her wedding and the whole qureshi clan went down. i was invited to which i was pleasantly suprised, but i had confliqting plans because i was invited to two other weddings here in toronto. i wish i had a jet so that i could make it out to all the weddings but i dont. anyhoo... congrats saima!

also congrats to shahid who through a nice reception here. also another shout out to lisa, my friend from high school, who also got hitched. it was really nice going to her wedding because i got to meet up with some high school friends that i havent seen for a long time

when i was waiting for lisa's wedding reception to begin we (tanya, my date since sarah was in tennessee) decided to chill out in our home town of aurora. we both grew up there and lisa's reception was obviously there. we drove to a new shopping plaza and to our complete shock we saw a place called SOCA HOME. which proudly stated that it was 'bringing rhythm (riddim?) to your kitchen'. we had to go in there and talked it up with the owner... she grew up in scarboro and moved to aurora.. sorta the opposite of me. she said that she surprisingly gets a lot of west indian customers which was hard to believe.... since its aurora.. the whitest town ever. the funny part is there were items in the store that ya cant even find in west indian stores in scarborough

anyhow... that was the first two days of the long weekend. my mom and i took off for motown the day after and we chilled with bilu's family. it was really great for the parents to finally meet. from there i dropped my mom off at my cousins house while bilu and i took off for some adventures. first of all we went to get some fireworks. im not talking about lil kaboom fireworks either... bilu wanted to put the canadas wonderland fireworks to shame and he probably did. we went to the middle of nowhere and loaded the car full of the goodlies. im pretty sure if we got pulled over by the cops we'd get thrown in jail for 'muslims carrying too many explosive shit'... but luckily bilu is a good driver. we had a white guy with us just in case as well

i doubt anyone is still reading this... but if you are ill wrap it up now. we ended up having dinner at this wiqed place near bilu's house. we ordered the usual items and discussed the latest in hockey. from there we ran out of topiqs to discuss and ended up talking about physiqs. we're smart like that.

we ended up at bilus place super tired and flipped on the tv to find the highly acclaimed movie 'stomp the yard' on. we ended up watching it... and since it was repeating on that channel we ended up watching it a few times. like... when i was in the shower he was watching it.. then i went down and he passed me the remote while he took a shower.. and when he got out i was still watching it... it was that good lol

We rep'n thetas, thetas, thetas. We rep'n thetas, thetas thetas. We rep'n ooo ooo ooo BOOM!
